China can be a Hero

Dear Chinese Government,

I think I mentioned before, I have been to China on different occasions. I worked in your beautiful country. I lived among your kind people. Their humility and kindness is what struck me the most. Although I saw some things I might not agree with or like, I respect that China has always been a world of its own. I mean that in a respectful way - a way that can only admire how your people have managed to remain (almost) untouched by some of the less admirable qualities of the Western world. Your cultural traditions and spiritual, wisdom filled, values are what the West has always admired.

Forgive me if I say so but when I was in Tibet, I noticed that you dress up Chinese girls, in Tibetan clothes, and then parade them at strategic shops to sell replicated Tibetan products. Why would you need to do so?

It seems, to me, that if you joined forces with the Tibetan people and allowed them all the rights of Chinese citizens, you would find they would sell their goods faster than you might ever expect.

I do recall from my days in China that one of your previous governments decided to introduce capitalism into your communist regime. You discovered there was more profit in semi privatising (or incentivising) your previously government held businesses. I do believe that since that genius policy, your gross home production percentages sky rocketted; allowing you to become of the strongest economic countries in the world.

You could have that with the Tibetan people. Think about it. You allow them to produce and sell their products for a percentage plus, of course, the normal business taxes you apply to your people. Of course, there is a law in Italy that excludes artesans from paying taxes because they don’t have factories nor mass produce. Maybe in the future, you might consider opening a factory for them.

Have you ever watched the way Tibetan people sell. Well, in fact, they almost don’t need to even try to sell you anything. Their energy, theirs smiles and their inner beauty shines so bright, one can’t help but buy. They could be very beneficial to you as allies.

Remember, energy (or our spirit) is the one thing that cannot be purchased.

While we’re on the subject of Tibetan citizens in Tibet, which is now considered your territory, I have the perfect solution for you to hand back the Autonomous Region of Tibet to His Holiness the Dalai Lama before he passes away. So that he may, at least, be buried on his home soil.

Just imagine, for a moment, that that is his secret wish. Can you imagine international press? You’d become heroes over night. You’d be in every magazine and paper, on every news channel and every radio channel. I’m sure people around the world would love you and buy more of your products.

I can just see the Headlines now: “China gives back Tibet to the Dalai Lama” - subtitle: “It’s history in the making.” - and, you, the current leaders of the Chinese Government would go down in history as the new Global superheroes.

Personally, I think it would be a fare payback for the money you have cashed in with tourism to Tibet. His Holiness has been your major advertiser and hasn’t charged a penny for it. He brought and continues to bring tourism but just think how much more tourism you would generate if genuine Tibetans lived in Lhasa!

It’s not a crime to cash in such vast amounts of money on spirituality markets but for people, in your country, I know that being the bigger person of the two is very important.

However, it is a crime to let any Dalai Lama, and please remember that he is a reincarnation of all the previous Dalai Lamas, do such work in order for people, like myself, to be deceived by the inauthenticity, of the country, through the lack of genuine Tibetan food, people and warmth. Most of all, I missed seeing monks walking around in their robes. It also broke my heart to witness a very elderly gentleman be persecuted and intimidated by a policeman on a motorcycle.

I shan’t mention the military convoys running through the centre of Lhasa. I am hoping it was just a test mission for something. I think I still have the video of it somewhere. I’ve never made it public on the Internet because I believed you would change and become the heroes in this tragic “modern day” Illiad. Call me a romantic but I still believe that heroes always win.

I forgive the fact that my room was tapped and my movements were monitored. In fact, I am grateful for it because you taught me energetic frequencies used by spy devises and/or when someone is surveilling us. Yes, I can read energy. It is my nature. I still plan to come to China to study Qigong with one of your Great Masters. I owe everything to them. Even those I have never met have been my teachers. I bow in reverence to them.

Dear Politicians in China, there is no need for any more fighting or bickering. The War is over. My appearance on this Earth signifies the New Buddha is coming. It’s only a matter of time before it shall be known. Not even you can prevent this prophecy.

So why not stop now. Someone has to stop. I choose to stop here and tell you, I shall never post the video footage I took in Lhasa because my faith in you continues.

I love China because it is authentic away from the facades of Western influence. I would have re-visited Tibet if I’d had a real taste of it and its people, and if I’d be allowed, one day, to access the Sichuan province and drive up by car.

As the Udumbara, it is my secret wish to see all people living in harmony. When we live in harmony, there is no taking sides. Enemies become friends and everyone benefits from the wealth of knowledge and resources shared.

It’s time to lay down the sword and become the wise China you have always been known for through your ancient texts, maritime abilities, your architecture and much much more.

You are more than capable of striking a deal with His Holiness the Dalai Lama but should you need any help, I would be happy to be the mediator of your new “Autonomous Region of Tibet Agreement!” - The press might call it the “China has a Heart Agreement!”

Only with Love we create Peace

Dear brothers and sisters around the world,

I recently heard someone remind me of something I once said to them and that is: “We can’t fight for Peace in the World.”

Fight and Peace don’t even belong in the same sentence. When we fight we become the very war that we are trying to stop. Because, we can only achieve Peace by ceasing all types of wars.

These can be wars within ourselves; with our constant insecurities, doubts and fears. They can be wars with neighbours over an overgrown plant. They can be wars against multi national corporations that are poisoning our planet and our minds. These can be destructive wars where men, women, children and animals die.

You see when we strip away the ego, and the labels we attach ourselves so rigidly to, there are no nationalities, no possessions, no anything and take away the physical body, we are all exactly the same beings of energy.

The only difference between us, as energetic beings, is the frequency we vibrate at. Perhaps this is why there is so much misunderstanding in the world. If we all did our best to try and reach another person’s vibrational energy, while still keeping our own intact, we would learn to, temporarily, understand each other. In other words, we would adapt to each other.

If we practiced this capacity of adaptation every day, over a period of time it would become second nature. When something is second nature, it comes naturally; without even trying. Eventually, Peace would prevail automatically because we would all make an effort to understand each other.

Peace comes from seeds of Love, Kindness and Compassion (as His Holiness the Dalai Lama quite rightfully says.) If we are busy loving, there will be no fighting. Our energy will be too busy creating instead of destructing.

But, it takes one person to make the first move in the attempt to understand. It takes one person to listen. It takes one person to apologise and one person to adapt their frequency. This is placing others first. In doing so, we will ultimately reap great rewards.

The Divine blesses us, and our lives, with exactly what we plant in the seeds of our actions in the world. If you fight you will be fought, if you love you will be loved. Only in Love can we create Peace.

We are all one people

I have walked among black people, white people, yellow people, beige people, blue people and, when I sailed on the ships, some very green looking people. I have mingled  with billionaires and I have dined with those who had nothing to give - yet they gave me everything.

While travelling around the world working, I slept in some of the finest hotel beds. I have also shared the floor with beautiful nuns with whom I shared heart-warming conversations. Yet, not a single word was spoken. Nobody spoke English and I was the only foreign woman in a temple as big as Buckingham Palace.

I have lived among Jewish people and I have lived with Muslims. I have lived with Catholics and Christians. I have been to Tibet to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Homeland. I also lived in China. In both countries and among both Tibetan people and Chinese people, I learned more than I could have ever possibly imagined.

I have been to Europe. I have lived in the Middle East. I have been to Africa and America. I have been to Russia and next I am going to Greece.

I have worshipped in churches. I have kneeled in Cathedrals. I went to the Vatican and I stood hugging The Tree of Life in Bahrain. I stood in awe of Temples and Mosques. I sat for some time with Shamans and Witches. I walked among the finest physicians and the simplest of people living in remote areas, with no schooling, who had such great knowledge of Healing Plants.

I have befriended highly educated people and people who had no schooling at all. I have walked among the dead and the dieing.

Do you know what differences I, truly, saw between us?  - None.

We are all Human Beings. We are all Beings made of Energy and Matter.

We are all brothers and sisters who just have a different way of saying, and doing, things.

The Mind of Wisdom

My dear children of the world,

Please take a moment to read this. If you allow me the time, I’d like to tell you a story that is an example of how everything in this physical world has been created by the mind of someone in order for someone else’s life to be made a little more comfortable.

Once upon a time, many many many centuries ago, four of our ancestor hunter/gatherers who lived in nature or, if they were lucky, in a cave, were sat around a camp fire; chatting about the next hunting expedition. They needed to hunt in order to eat. They didn’t yet fully know all the types of fruits and plants they could eat.

On the previous hunting expedition, one of them had hurt themselves and wasn’t able to walk very far. So, the other three offer to share their bounty with him so he could sustain his family. The injured hunter was so grateful that, in return he gave them some crops he’d been growing.

This happened a few times, in the village, the men invariably suffered something and couldn’t go hunting. Every time, the bounty sharers would receive a gift in return. Until, one day, someone couldn’t give him anything or didn’t have anything to give.

Upset that he’d spent so much time and risked his life, the hunter decided that, from that day on, in exchange for a share of his bounty, people would have to give him something, otherwise he would not share. It was at that moment, that the first ever system of commerce was born.

What was initially an act of kindness to help someone and fulfill a need, soon transformed into commerce and trading.

One day, one of the clever women in the village discovered she could make bowls out of leaves. Another accidentally discovered how to make clay pots. Each item that was slowly introduced into the village soon had a price tag. Two joints of meat for four pots. A handful of herbs and spices for two leaf bowls and so on.

This is why everything has a reason for happening in life. Behind the answer to every need, want, desire, there is a clever mind who came up with the solution. After that clever mind, came more clever minds who improved the solution. Some thought they’d perfected it and, for their day, they probably did.

The point is, just as our minds create the “want,” it also creates the conditions for the solution to be found. Our want plants the seeds of “solution” in the mind of another; unless we are able to find the solution ourselves.

So, it is also the mind that creates a “solution.”

The world is as it is today because the mind has been allowed to manifest everything it has ever wanted; throughout the whole of history.

It is with our mind that we resolve global issues. It is with the mind that we create reality. Our minds plant seeds every day, which influence us, others, the present and the future. Please plant wisely dear ones.

Remember that a wise mind does not argue, it reasons. A clever mind can quickly adapt its thinking. A Highly trained mind is both wise and clever.

What makes a wise mind is its ability to use knowledge appropriately, with responsibility to itself and others. Mindful Wisdom is determining when, where, how and what type of knowledge should be imparted.

Two People acting wrongfully do not create one person acting rightfully-

My dear children,

We harvest, from life, what we plant in life. And, what we take care of, in life, is what we really want to see grow.

Sometimes we plant some seeds and they grow beautifully, and at other times, we plant seeds and they die before they even sprout. Why? Because some we take care of more than others.

We can’t plant any seed and expect it to grow without giving it water and looking after it.
Even if it manages to sprout, the plant cannot survive in the blazing heat without any water.

In the same way, as the plant, we can’t plants the seeds of indifference and expect to harvest concern. If we want concern, we have to show it. If we want people to care, we have to care.

There are many feuds in the world, much arguing, too many political stances and far too many opinions. Yet, for all the opinions in the world, there are very few that “actually” matter because, nowadays, too few are formulated by the Heart and too many formulated by the ego.

Every life is Divine but Human life is exceptionally precious. It is a testimony to the incredible creation of Love. It is, in a way, our personal identifier in this world. Anyone who knows me and whispers my name, in silence, to someone else, knows what I look like; even if I am not there.

As a flower, I do not cease to exist if I do not appear for centuries. My legend carries on long after I have lost my bloom.

In this way, every Human Being deserves acknowledgement for their existence. No Human Being deserves to be ignored or treated with dismissal; especially not one that offers love. In Buddhism, there is a very strong message that says: "Every human life has value."

Sometimes, it may be a little harder than others, to distinguish what purpose some human lives have here, but they all have a purpose because they are all our teachers. We benefit, from them, by learning the things “not to do” just as much as the “things to do.” We can learn patience from those who challenge us. We can learn compassion from those who are merciless with us.

We can love our neighbours and neighbouring countries. There is no such thing as an enemy. It is an illusion; created to keep us all apart. It is a distraction from discovering that we all share the same things in common. We laugh, we love, we cry, we bleed. We are all only Human Beings. We are all on a journey. We are all just doing the best that we can with the knowledge we have.

Although, they are suppose to be representative of a nation, we cannot judge a country’s people by the few who make it into the limelight. Nor can we judge people by their politicians. Every story has two sides. It’s time we listened to both sides and not just our own.

If we want our neighbours and our neighbouring countries to show us compassion, we must show it first. We need to take the responsibility of doing the right thing. Two people acting wrongly will never make one person acting rightfully. So, we need to lead the way and set the example of what love truly is, what compassion truly is and what kindness really means.

Mahatma Ghandi said: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” This is what he meant, put out into the world that which you wish to receive back. Jesus Christ said: Turn the other cheek” ... (should someone strike you) but he didn’t mean let them strike you again. He meant show them another way. The way of love.

Anger can never calm anger just like a fire can never put out a fire. Be the water to put out the fire. Don’t be the fuel that adds to it.

The dark can only remain dark until we shine a light in it. We cannot wait for others to shine that light. We have to become the light.

Even if you can never make peace with your neighbour, you can still show compassion by not causing them any harm. If you do no harm, no harm shall come to you.

Find peace in your Hearts dear ones.

Find Peace.

Dear Mr Trump and Dear Chinese and Tibetan Governments

Dear Mr Trump,

I read, with interest, an article talking about you bringing in a new bill to restrict access of Chinese Tour operators; promoting Tibet, into the US, if the Chinese continue to deny access to foreign journalists into Tibet.

I find this a very contradictory move since it only serves the purpose of denying tourists access to Tibet. If people don’t visit Tibet, how will they ever see what conditions are there? How will they ever know Tibetan people? How will they ever sympathise with Tibet?

Perhaps, Mr Trump, a better route might have been to deny access to Chinese tourists into the USA but that might be very damaging for he US economy and not a very good route either. Why did you not deny access to Chinese officials instead of tour operators? I have to question whether you wish to damage Tibet’s economy but then, I get confused because I thought you were trying to help Tibet and Tibetans.

I read that your “Experts on China” deemed this a “Tit for Tat”. Far be it from me to tell you how to run your cabinet, but I really think you should reassign whoever said this. If they knew anything about Chinese People and Chinese culture, they would know that this is considered a confrontation.I was only in China 6 months and even I know it.

Has history taught us nothing? Chinese Culture doesn’t like confrontation. They are not bad people. They only show force and power because, even though they are an ancient, and wise, culture, they are still learning - like all of us. Only, they don't like to expose their shortcomings in public. It makes them feel like they fall short in some way, when in fact, all they are doing is learning.

So, please don’t make me think that this bill is all about creating a standoff with China. What will be next - sanctions? - The breaking of Trade agreements? What will you do, put them in a corner to damage their economy just so you can bring manufacturing back to the US as you promised during your election campaign?

I would never want to think that a man of your calibre would use Tibet as a pawn in order to “Make America Great Again?” (I do recall that sentence, which again was frequently used in your election campaign)

If this were the case, though, I might end up thanking you because you could very well end the hostility between China and Tibet and let me tell you, it will not be because of your bill.

You see ... old enemies can become friends in their moment of need.

Dear Chinese Government,

I wrote to you 4 years ago ... and today, I am back, louder and stronger. Please don’t enter into this game of chess that is being presented by the US government. It will be damaging to your economy in the long run.

I have been to Lhasa. I apologise for taking photographs but I did. I apologise for taking videos but I did and I am a nobody in this world ... So, I am sure that any journalists who wanted to enter Tibet - already have. Otherwise how would we know about the brave Tibetan nuns and monks who set themselves alight? How would we know about temples that have been invaded? How would we even know about all the Tibetan people you have arrested?

Dear Chinese government, this is your chance to see things as they are. This is your golden opportunity to make allies of old friends and move forward in the grace you once shared.

If you had genuine Tibetan people in your shops in Lhasa and at the airport, instead of Chinese girls dressed in Tibetan dresses, you would stand to make far more money. Just think about it. Tibetan people are kind, they are very loving, generous, patient and peaceful but they are, also, very clever business people. You only have to see what they have created everywhere around the world to see that.

Four years ago, I wrote that you would never be able to break their inner strength - so, why not learn from it? There is strength in union. There is power in union. There is growth in union.

Four years ago, I couldn’t see clearly ... I was still growing ... but now I see it all clearly.

I understand His Holiness the Dalai Lama is about to visit your country, please take this Golden opportunity to let all wounds heal.

A faithful servant of Humanity,
The Udumbara flower

An official message from the Udumbara in Flower

Good morning dear, beautiful, world,

I have been slowly awakening since 2002. In 2014, I sent my first message to you all and allowed a friend to post it. A few weeks ago, I sent her another message in the hope you may read it ... Unitl, I decided it was time to come out of hiding and start posting my own messages.

I am no longer bound by the chains of fear. I am strong enough to stand on my own and speak my truth.

I know, my beloved Tibetan people, that you have been suffering a lot. I have walked among you. I have heard your stories. Through you, I have felt what you have felt. Through you, I have seen what you have seen. But, I could do nothing more than to alleviate your pain and suffering in some small way.

I feel the tension grow among the young people. I hear their cries to fight against oppression. I feel their restlessness in my heart. They would seek revenge for their families and their suffering. They would take back what was unjustly taken from them. But, at what cost?

Fighting is not the answer, dear ones. It is not the answer.

I know your cry, I have heard this cry all over the world - not just from you, dear ones, but also from every human in every country that has suffered oppression, war, famine, disaster, eviction from their country and total destruction. Even there, revenge is not the answer.

The innocent are killed by those who were once innocent. They allow themselves to succumb and surrender to disillusion. They are fed by negative emotions. They allow this negativity to cloud their judgement. They allow their negative feelings to grow and grow until they are overpowered by their desire to seek revenge and satisfy their lust for blood. This is how the perpetual cycle of Samsara persists.

Samsara is what we create. We need to take responsibility for that.

We feed the perpetual cycle of Samsara. How? -  You kill my brother, I kill your father. You kill my mother, I kill 10 of your sisters. Then, you will take revenge again and kill 20 of my sisters. In reality, though, you didn't kill my 20 sisters. I killed them. I condemned them to death in the very moment that I decided to take revenge and kill any member of your family or friends. I brought about my own suffering. And, just as I brought about my own suffering, you brought about yours. We bring about each others' suffering.

Negative energy is a very powerful force. When it isn't controlled, it will grow rampant. It creates an inner widlfire that is so powerful that everything, in its path, will be burned to ashes. We, ourselves, go down in flames if we cannot pour water on the fire. This is, literally, what burning in the realms of hell is. It is this Samsara we create for ourselves and others.

This is not who we are as a human race. This is not who we are as beings of light. This is not how we follow the teachings of the Buddha, nor Christ, nor Krishna, nor Mohammed, nor Moses, Nor Abraham, nor Zeus, nor Allah nor God nor Ra nor Shiva/Shakti. This should never be what we aspire to in life.

In continuing to allow this persistent cycle of Samsara, we are choosing to stay in the Hell Realms. We are pouring our Buddha potential into negative thoughts and actions. We are blind to all the beauty we can create instead. We are wasting our precious life in thoughts and deeds that serve no purpose other than to create destruction for others and ourselves. This is wholly contradictory to any teachings of any great man, or woman, who, in the name of any religion tried to bring people back to their natural, and pure, state of being.

Fire cannot be put out with fire.

Love, Kindness and Compassion are the answers. Sometimes, we have to wait patiently for that which we wish to attain. But, patience is our great Master.

If we want peace, we have to be peace. If we want our land back, we have to befriend our neighbours with healthy boundaries. If we wish to receive love, we have to give it.

Tibet, has always been considered the Shangri-la of the world. Not because of our oral religious teachings but because, as people, we lived in a way that showed the world there was a better way. We lived by our teachings. We showed the world that, even on earth, in the here and now, Nirvana was possible. We taught, and claimed our reputation by living by example. If we lose that now, all will be lost forever and people will not see there is another way.

We, dear beautiful ones, have to be the example the world can use to live in a better way.

We cannot fight in love. In love, there is no fighting. In love, with love and through love, we use our energy, with Wisdom, to build and to create. When the foundations are laid, nobody may see anything obvious but when the building starts to go up, everyone will notice the strength of its walls. Everyone will ask how this is possible in such times of turmoil and, slowly, but surely, everyone will eventually start copying and a new trend is born. People follow other people's lead.

Even in politics, we can make this a reality. Change is inevitable and, we too, are responsible for creating that change. We can only make it positive when we decide to leave the realms of Hell and live, once again, in Shangri-la where Nirvana is possible here on earth as well.

I am here. I am observing. I am strong and I have found my voice. My Grandfather, His Holisness the 14th Dalai Lama's has taught me well. He is your Grandfather too and all Grandfathers are wise. A Dalai Lama even wiser. Do not dismiss him as an elderly gentleman who needs to move with the times. He has moved with the times and more times than any youngling. His love, kindness and compassion is what has given him the strength to overcome all obstacles in life; including his own pain and suffering. It is, precisely, the combination of all of these aspects, plus his faith in the Buddha's teachings, that has made him the wisest among the wise.

Love, Kindness and Compassion are the only solutions to every day problems. It takes a stronger person to adhere to these qualities than succumb to negative emotions.

Live by his example. If you are a Christian, live by the example of Christ - turn the other cheek. It doesn't mean you allow people to walk all over you. It just means that you find a better way to respond in Loving kindness with compassion by putting out a fire instead of adding fuel to it.

May you all have, and create for yourself, the conditions for happiness and may you always be happy.
